As I sit here on vacation at a family reunion in North Carolina, watching the sun rise over the mountains, I can’t help but be excited for all the fun we will be having this summer. The girls have finally reached the age where they are getting involved in more things.
Our fun summer is being kicked off a bit early with a family reunion with my husband’s parents and siblings. Next week both of the girls are going to Vacation Bible School for the first time. With our newly packed schedules, I needed a few more resources to keep track of our activities, so I decided to create some simple home management printables to help keep me organized.
These home management printables have actually been percolating in the back of my mind for a while now. Two weeks ago… oh my gosh, I can’t believe it’s been that long! Anyway, two weeks ago I was working on our monthly menu and thought it would be great to create a fun summer-themed monthly menu. The menu reminded me that I wanted to create a printable shopping list. I also decided that I needed to create a family schedule to help keep track of the different activities we have going on.
After deciding on those three printable projects and the designs of chevrons and seashells, I woke up in the middle of the night with the thought of a chore or to-do list or just a free space for notes. I opted for “Notes” because that can be used for pretty much anything.
I know that in our house, if we try to use a traditional “To-Do List,” it becomes crazy and causes more stress than it is worth! But if I just write down the things we need to do on a piece of paper along with any other general reminders, there’s no stress and no drama! Which makes for one happy momma!
4 Home Management Printables Summer Edition
Eeep! I’m so excited to be sharing these 4 Home Management Printables Summer Edition. I really hope you like them.
Monthly Menu in Aqua Chevron, Bright Pink Chevron, and Yellow Chevron
Not sure how to plan a monthly menu? Check out the post I wrote here on how to plan a monthly menu. Don’t let the idea of planning a monthly menu intimidate you. You can always just write in each week’s menu. I may or may not have been know to do that on occasion. 😉
Shopping List in Aqua Seashells, Bright Pink Seashells, and Yellow Seashells
The shopping list prints out on a full sheet of paper. I print the shopping list double sided then fold the paper in half and each half can be used for one week. I plan to be able to use one double sided shopping list for each month.
Family Schedule in Aqua Chevron, Bright Pink Chevron, and Yellow Chevron
I’m pretty excited about the way I created the family schedule. It has five color-coded weeks available. You can assign one person to each week to keep track of their individual schedules. Or you can use the color-coded weeks to help keep track of which week you are on. I will be using the latter because while the girls are getting more involved they do not have jam-packed schedules.
Notes in Aqua Seashells, Bright Pink Seashells, and Yellow Seashells
The notes printable has many uses. I plan on using it to keep track of any “To-do” items, chores, reminders, etc.
I hope you love this set of home management printables as much as I do!
Have a blessed day!
