About Me

Spread the love

Hi, I’m Brandi, and welcome to my little corner of blog world.  I am married to a hard-working, smart, handsome man who also happens to be my best friend. Our journey began in late October of 2010 when we accidentally met on an online dating site. We were married in March of 2011.

In 2012 we welcomed our first daughter, Madelynn aka Cakey, and our second daughter, Samantha aka Doodles, was born in 2013. After a miscarriage in 2015 we welcomed our son, Jeremiah aka Bubs in 2017.

In May of 2019 we packed up our family of 5 and moved four states away from our home in the greater Orlando, Florida area to Richmond, Virginia. We love getting to explore somewhere new and our enjoying our life in RVA.

I love to cook, bake, craft, sew, DIY, and save money. I can usually be found on the weekends scouring yard sales and thrift stores looking for an excellent bargain.

About Me Page picture

While I love my job as a stay at home mom, during my second pregnancy I realized that I needed to connect with others going through this journey of motherhood, and so Penguins in Pink was born.

I hope to cheer you on in your own journey while sharing economically friendly crafts, homeschool and school resources, recipes (usually healthy), money-saving strategies, product reviews, and lots of tips and tricks for your home and life. I will also share my personal struggles and successes in life, marriage, and especially motherhood.

So come on in, grab a cup of something warm, kick off your shoes, settle down, and stay awhile!

I’m so thankful you are here.

Have a great day!

Brandi
