SavingStar is one of my favorite online grocery ecoupon sites. Ecoupon sites have nothing to clip or print. The ecoupons available on SavingStar don’t reduce your grocery bill, but instead credit your SavingStar account with cash.
Here’s what the SavingStar website has to say:
“SavingStar is the smart and simple way to save on your groceries and online shopping. Our grocery eCoupons are fully digital with nothing to clip or print. The SavingStar Cashback Mall allows you to earn cash back into your SavingStar account when you shop at hundreds of online stores. SavingStar has over 4 million members and was founded in 2011.”
SavingStar is very easy to use. Here’s how simple it is to start saving money:
- Sign up – It’s free to sign up and use.
- Link your cards – you need to link all your store loyalty cards to your SavingStar account. SavingStar is available at over 100 store chains nationwide. In my area, only CVS and Winn-Dixie participate. Check the list to see what stores in your area are available.
- Select offers – click on the offers you want to receive cash back for. SavingStar offers a variety of individual and group offers. Individual offers are like save 50 cents on this box of cereal. While group offers are spend $17.00 on these products and get $5.00 back. Some offers need to be completed in one trip and others can be completed in multiple trips.
- Scan your card – scan your store loyalty card at the checkout and wait for your savings to appear in your SavingStar account. It usually takes 2-22 days for savings to appear.
Once your account reaches $5.00 you can cash it out for a gift card to Amazon, Paypal cash, or deposit it to your bank account. I always get the Amazon gift cards.
I love that SavingStar is now available as an application for both iPhones and Android phones. Simply visit your app store or download the app from the SavingStar website.
Recently, SavingStar has begun offering cash back on online shopping too! I have not tried using SavingStar for cash back on online shopping, so if you try it let me know how it works!
In the year that I have been using SavingStar I have earned $42.30. Which I know is not a lot but that extra $42.30 sure makes a difference at Christmas!
Do you use a ecoupon site like SavingStar? What’s your experience been like?
Have a blessed day!
