We officially started tot school a few weeks ago!! 🙂 Not sure if that is a happy smile or just a “smile and wave” smile. LOL. No really it had been fun but a learning experience for me and the girls.
Today I thought I would share some of my favorite resources for planning and executing our tot school.
Books:
The Preschool Journey by Angela Thayer – I love the ideas and plans in this ebook. While there is a 26 week preschool plan included, I went ahead and made my own tot school plan.
Sensory Bins: The What, The How & The Why by Sharla Kostelyk – If you want to know anything about sensory bins this book is for you. It is packed with a lot of information.
Printables:
Tot School Preschool Weekly Planner – This is the basic weekly planner I created to plan out the week’s activities for the girls.
Giant Block Capitol Letters – Anna over at The Measured Mom created these awesome giant block letters free printable. She also has lower case letters too.
Lower Case Letters – Jamie over at The Unlikely Homeschool created these great lower case letters free printable. She also has upper case letters too.
Circle Time Morning Board – Monica over and Happy and Blessed Home has a fun circle time morning board printables. While we are not doing a morning board this year, I found this very inspiring. Monica also has lots of other printables like coloring pages and more on her site.
Pinterest:
Pinterest is a well of knowledge! You can find practically anything there. I have a dedicated board just for Homeschooling Toddlers, make sure you follow it to keep up on all the wonderful, educating and creative ideas I find for homeschooling toddlers.
There you have it. Everything I used to plan our fun and hopefully successful tot school from the books to the printables to a dedicated Pinterest board. I hope this helps to make homeschooling toddlers easier for you and me. 🙂
Have a blessed day!
Brandi
