The Woodland Creatures Toilet Paper Roll Craft is a fun craft to make after you have saved up a few paper towel rolls and toilet paper rolls. They are simple and fun to make. The woodland creatures are perfect to add to your fall decor. The bear, fox, owl, and hedgehog are just so cute.
The Woodland Creatures Toilet Paper Roll Craft are a great way to practice using paint and paint brushes correctly.

Woodland Creatures Toilet Paper Roll Craft
Supplies needed:
- Toilet paper or paper towel rolls
- Craft paint in brown, tan, red-orange, white, yellow and black
- Paint brushes
- Scissors
- Hot glue and glue sticks
- Cupcake liner
To prepare:
- Cut 1/4 inch from a toilet paper roll. This roll will be used for the fox.
- Cut the 1/4 inch roll in half. Trim one end in a semi circle for the fox’s tail. Then cut about a 1/4 inch off the other end.
- Cut 1/2 inch from a toilet paper roll. This roll will be used for the owl.
- This 1/2 inch piece will be the hedgehog.
- On a third roll, cut two 1/4 inch pieces off for the arms of both the bear and fox. Cut the rolls in half and round the ends.
- Then cut two 1/2 inch pieces off it for the legs of both the bear and fox. Fold the roll in half and cut out a leg shape. Make sure the feet are separated.

For the Bear:
- Fold the toilet paper roll down slightly at the top to create the ears.
- Paint the entire roll, the arm, and leg pieces brown.
- Allow to dry for a minute or two.
- Apply 1 inch of hot glue to the arm piece and attach to the middle of the back.
- Apply hot glue to the leg piece and attach to the bottom of the back.
- Paint a second coat on the entire thing.
- Allow to dry completely.
- Apply two dots of white paint for the eyes.
- Use the black paint to add pupils, a nose, a mouth, and claws on the arms and legs.
- Allow to dry completely.

For the fox:
- Fold the toilet paper roll down slightly at the top to create the ears.
- Paint the entire roll, the arm, leg, and tail pieces red-orange.
- Allow to dry for a minute or two.
- Apply 1 inch of hot glue to the arm piece and attach to the middle of the back.
- Apply a dot of hot glue to the bottom of the tail piece and attach to the bottom of the back.
- For the leg piece, apply hot glue across it and attach to the bottom of the back where the tail piece is attached.
- Paint a second coat on the entire thing.
- Allow to dry a little.
- Apply white paint across the belly, face, ears, and the top of the tail.
- Allow to dry completely.
- Apply two dots of white paint for the eyes.
- Use the black paint to add pupils, a nose, a mouth, and claws on the arms and legs.
- Allow to dry completely.

For the Owl
- Fold the toilet paper roll down slightly at the top to create the ears.
- Paint the entire roll in tan
- Allow to dry for a minute or two.
- Paint a second coat on the entire thing.
- Fold the cupcake liner in half.
- Apply hot glue to the middle of the cupcake liner and attach to the middle of the back.
- Apply two dots of white paint for the eyes.
- Use the black paint to add pupils.
- Use yellow paint to create a beak and claws.
- Allow to dry completely.

For the Hedgehog
- Paint the top of the roll brown and the bottom tan.
- Allow to dry for a minute or two.
- Paint a second coat on the entire thing.
- Use tan to paint a circle for the face.
- Apply two dots of white paint for the eyes.
- Use the black paint to add pupils, nose, and mouth.
- Use a stiff bristle paint brush to lightly apply black, brown, and tan dots to the top of the hedgehog.
- Allow to dry completely.

The woodland creatures toilet paper roll craft is so simple and fun. Not to mention the bear, fox, owl, and hedgehog are just the cutest. The girls really had a lot of fun creating their little woodland critters.
